Food Lover’s Market was the first South African retailer to ban plastic straws, followed by the elimination of plastic bags at all till points in our corporate stores. From March 1, 2022, to February 28, 2023, we received an average of 28 compliments per week, totaling 1,467 customer compliments for the year.
