How do you use it?
If you’re a Horlicks lover, then Maca is a Super Food/healthier essential for you! It tastes malty, just like Horlicks and it provides energy so is great to use in your smoothies, plus it is a great addition to desserts and treats. Pair it with Cacao for a delicious combo! It is ideal for a smoothie booster ingredient.
You can have 1-8 teaspoons per day to start.
Superfoods Maple and Maca Ice Cream
(Makes 1L)
Ingredients:
500ml Water & Ice Cubes
1 ½ Bananas, frozen
1 ½ TBs Maca
¾ Cup Cashews
6 Dates
Pinch of Salt
½ tsp. Vanilla Extract
Method:
Blend all ingredients together excluding Maple Syrup. Pour into a container (suitable for freezing), stir in the maple syrup and Freeze.
Stir the ice cream (by hand) after 2-3 hours and put it back in the freezer. (Especially if you don’t own an ice cream maker).
