We’re trying 4 ways with our freshly baked baguettes, a.k.a french loaf! Which one will you love most? A simple starter, snack or light dinner…enjoy these super simple french loaf crostini’s topped with seared steak, basil pesto, and sundried tomatoes.
1 x Food Lover’s Market French loaf (35cm), sliced diagonally
30ml (2 Tbsp) butter
To assemble:
320g seared steak (20g per slice)
160ml (2/3 cup) basil pesto (10ml per slice)
60g sundried tomatoes
60g fresh tomatoes
Micro herbs
Directions
For the French loaf:
Melt butter in a pan over medium heat. Toast the bread slices in the butter until golden brown. Drain on kitchen towel and set aside until needed.
To assemble:
Spread basil pesto over the toasted bread. Add seared steak onto the basil pesto and top with sundried tomatoes and fresh tomatoes. Garnish with micro herbs.
